Two very friendly, one very experienced, installers arrived bang on time, worked swiftly and accurately and were finished in no time, despite having to empty the old tank of heating oil. Our boiler engineer recommended SG Tanks and their service has been fantastic from the first call to the completed installation. Their prices were very competitive too. We needed it done fairly quickly as our old tank had a crack and we were out of oil. SG Tanks were very responsive and were able to expedite the order, getting it installed in no time at all. Their operatives who installed the base and then tank were great, they were knowledgeable and friendly, everything they did looked great.

Problems with our oil-fired central heating were diagnosed as an issue with the oil feed from the tank. I found SG Tanks online, was impressed with their rating on Checkatrade, so gave them a call. And I am so glad that I did. Extremely prompt, competent and efficient service. The two engineers despatched had everything sorted in about an hour, including tank being pumped dry, then refilled. For anything to do with external heating oil tanks (sales, maintenance, repair or installation), I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They were superb. And pricing was very reasonable too.

A week until Christmas and my tank was splitting. SG Tanks were there the next day to scope the job, and they supplied a quote the next day. The job was done a few days later by the friendly team who took care of every detail. The price was very competitive; the service unrivalled.

Replaced a 2500L single skinned domestic tank with a 1800L bunded one on the same footprint. Phoned them the day I realised the tank had a hairline crack (thankfully too high for any oil to reach). Team came over the same day to confirm and I had the quote that evening. A week later and the tanks were swapped over in under 2 hours including transfer of 1300L of fuel and Boiler/Aga were back on. Cheerful and efficient install team. Top Job!

Excellent job done by Mark and Josh. I can’t praise this company enough from visiting to give me a price, to completing the work the following week. Very professional and clearly know their business. It was a huge old tank that they had to remove and replace with a smaller one. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company and would definitely use them again.
